How to optimise and prepare your photos for website or social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Plus)?
Just before you upload your product image, service photo, or photo to your online shop or website, always think about file size and quality of the photo.
In this tutorial I’m using Photoshop CC 2015, but this technique is the same or similar with previous versions and Photoshop onwards
Let’s do this
First step is to open Photoshop.

In the above screenshot you can see steps which you should follow
Go to File > Scripts > Image Processor…

In next dialog box we can see lot of settings parameters. Most important parameters are:
1 – Folder location of your photos, you should locate your images using Select Folder button.
2 – File Type: most common file type today is JPEG and recommended quality is 6, if you would like better quality you can change this to 8 or 10.
3 – Resize to Fit: Enter max width and height of your photos, in current settings maximum width and height is 800 pixels.
4 – Run: Click on Run and wait for action, now Your resized photos should be in sub Folder of your original photos in folder name JPEG.
